LA PETITE PORTE (THE LITTLE DOOR)
Tutto comincia da un’idea, anche astratta. Da questo punto ogni cosa comincia ed accelera, alcune cose prendono forma, evolvono, falliscono… come noi… Alcuni percorsi appaiono e scompaiono, delle porte si materializzano. Devi scegliere quale aprire tra quelle che non sono chiuse. Alcune ti faranno progredire, altre tornare indietro. Altre sono un punto di svolta nella tua vita, un checkpoint nel tempo in cui il tuo percorso risulta essere un vicolo cieco. A volte potrebbero rimanere chiuse. Quindi, devi imparare a circondarti delle persone giuste per continuare ad andare avanti o per trovare nuove strade. Il cammino verso i tuoi sogni può essere molto lungo e forse dovresti accettare di fare un passo indietro per raggiungerli. Hai fatto la scelta giusta?
It all starts with an idea, even an intangible one. From this point, everything starts and accelerates, some things are shaped, they evolve, they fail… So we do… Some paths loom and vanish, some doors appear. You have to choose which ones you want to open among those who aren’t sealed. Some will make you progress; others will make you regress. Others are a turning point in your lives, a checkpoint in time when the path you’ve walked turns out to be a dead end. Sometimes, they may remain locked up. Hence, you have to learn how to surround yourself with the right people to keep going or find a new road. The path to your dreams can be very long and maybe you should accept to take a step back in order to reach them. Have you made the right choice ?
Biografia
Jordan Malfoy e Colas Lardeau hanno fondato l’associazione di danza Racine De Deux nel 2013.
Fabien Faucil si è unito a loro nel 2018, per fondare insieme la compagnia di danza Racine De Deux e sviluppare sia il lavoro creativo coreografico, sia un accompagnamento artistico che si fondi sui valori dell’hip hop. Anche se trovano la loro identità tra la danza contemporanea e urbana, non pongono limiti a loro stessi o al loro lavoro e sono alla ricerca di un modo unico e ibrido di raccontare una storia. Finora hanno creato 3 show:
InMate che parla della ricerca della libertà in questa società normativa.
Et toi, ton nez rouge, il en est où? un duetto sullo spazio che lasciamo al nostro bambino interiore.
La Petite Porte che parla delle scelte che dobbiamo affrontare come artisti e come umani.
La compagnia è attiva anche nell’insegnamento di corsi, workshop e masterclass, nell’organizzazione di allenamenti, eventi e battle. Attualmente stanno lavorando ad un nuovo show nel quale vogliono dare lo spazio principale alla musica e reimpie-gare spazi pubblici all’aperto: Bru{i}t!
Jordan Malfoy and Colas Lardeau founded the Racine De Deux dance association in 2013.
Fabien Faucil joined them in 2018 to found the Racine De Deux dance company together and develop both a choreographic creative work and an artistic accompaniment around the hip hop values. Even if they find their identity between urban and contemporary dances, they set no limits to themselves or their work and are looking for an hybrid and unique way of telling new stories. Up to now, they have created 3 shows:
InMate which talks about finding freedom in this normative society.
Et toi, ton nez rouge, il en est où? a duet about the place you leave to your inner child.
La Petite Porte who talks about the choices you have to face as an artist or as a human.
The company is also active in teaching regular classes, workshops and masterclasses, organizing trainings, events and bat-tles. Nowadays, they are working on a new show where they want to give music its central place and reinvest outdoor public spaces: Bru{i}t !
