BAIA è un progetto coreografico ispirato alla città sommersa di Baia, che esplora il rapporto tra memoria, tempo e spazio. Due corpi attraversano e trasformano il paesaggio in un ciclo di movimenti che evocano crolli, riemersioni e sospensioni.
L’opera si sviluppa attorno a tre elementi chiave:
Latitudine/Longitudine: la coreografia segue la struttura dei mosaici esagonali sommersi, basandosi su un ritmo ciclico in 6 tempi.
Profondità: il movimento riflette il fenomeno del bradisismo, lasciando tracce effimere o persistenti nello spazio.
Pressione: il corpo lotta con la resistenza, in un equilibrio tra immersione ed emersione.
Il paesaggio visivo è costruito con video mappature di Angelo Bitetti, trasformando la scena in una rete dinamica di forme e ritmi.

casagrande // giorgini opera nelle arti performative con un approccio interdisciplinare per generare ambienti totali e attraversabili. Il primo progetto DOT è selezionato per Progetto OIKOS, NAOcrea22, Alloggiando Art Fest e FLIC25. Partecipano a Incubatore per futur* coreograf* CIMD. La seconda creazione BAIA è sviluppata con il supporto di Lavanderia a Vapore e Ricerca X, CORE Dance (US), D.ID Dance Identity (AT), sostenuta da Culture Moves Europe e Goethe Institut. L’ultimo lavoro Vorreië ca scissë la lunë vince il bando Nuovo Grand Tour, promosso da MiC e IIC di Parigi, ed è ospitato da La Briqueterie CDCN (FR) con il sostegno di IRA Institute, Mosaico Danza, Movimento Danza e Florian Metateatro. Presentano i loro lavori in Italia e all’estero tra cui: National Gallery e Studio Alta (CZ), Salon (US), KörperMeets, Festival Più che Danza!, ALT, Umbria Danza Festival e IRA Festival. Co-fondano l’associazione B-ped e dal 2025 dirigono il Festival Tracce A Venire
(Abruzzo).

BAIA is a choreographic project inspired by the submerged city of Baia, exploring the relationship between memory, time, and space. Two bodies move through and transform the landscape in a cycle of actions that evoke collapse, resurfacing, and suspension.
The work unfolds around three key elements:
Latitude / Longitude: the choreography follows the structure of the submerged hexagonal mosaics, based on a cyclical six-beat rhythm.
Depth: movement reflects the phenomenon of bradyseism, leaving traces in space that are either fleeting or enduring.
Pressure: the body struggles against resistance, balancing between immersion and emergence.
The visual landscape is created through Angelo Bitetti's video mapping, transforming the stage into a dynamic network of shapes and rhythms.

casagrande // giorgini work across the performing arts with an interdisciplinary approach, creating immersive environments that audiences can inhabit and experience. Their first project, DOT, was selected for Progetto OIKOS, NAOcrea22, Alloggiando Art Fest, and FLIC25, and they took part in Incubatore for future choreographers CIMD.
Their second creation, BAIA, was developed with the support of Lavanderia a Vapore and Ricerca X, CORE Dance (USA), and D.ID – Dance Identity (Austria), with additional support from Culture Moves Europe and the Goethe Institut.
Their latest work, Vorreië ca scissë la lunë, won the Nuovo Grand Tour open call, promoted by the MiC and the IIC di Parigi, and was hosted by La Briqueterie CDCN (France), with the support of IRA Institute, Mosaico Danza, Movimento Danza, and Florian Metateatro.
Their works have been presented in Italy and internationally at venues and festivals including National Gallery and Studio Alta (Czech Republic), Salon (USA), KörperMeets, Festival Più che Danza!, ALT, Umbria Danza Festival, and IRA Festival.
They are co-founders of B-ped and, since 2025, have been artistic directors of Festival Tracce A Venire in Abruzzo.
