The creation of the Que Ser? solo had its starting point in a research based upon the concepts of identity and obstacle. By experiencing the body and the movement, Sofia explores to create and show alternative images, other views of the body that reveal themselves as an expression of multiple identities, as well as of intrinsic constraints or obstacles, without ever trying to give them a representative or interpretative quality.

Through the deconstruction and the analysis of the movement and the anatomical structure of the body, she wants to achieve the abstraction of the body, to question thus, the ideas and thoughts concerning the body, that we acquire through the social and cultural contexts we live and we experience.

Que Ser? explores and questions our perception and representation of the human body in a sensitive and poetic way.

The solo was selected by Aerowaves, and was presented in France, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary.
