Siamo ufficialmente al punto di non ritorno.
Ci sentiamo impotenti di fronte ai cambiamenti climatici, sociali, umani e non sappiamo più come reagire. Ci giustifichiamo. Ci adattiamo, implodiamo. Un trittico composto da soli complementari in formato site specific, per raccontare ciò che resta del presente, o forse di un futuro prossimo che sempre meno ci appare distopico e sempre più reale. Nella sonnolenza, nel torpore, nella stasi contemporanea, nelle debolezze umane che ci accompagnano ogni giorno, la bestia nel cuore è forse l'esplosione di cui abbiamo davvero bisogno per sentirci ancora vivi.

LARVA nasce in un contesto da evento politico. Vengono evocati i grandi temi: dalla crisi della democrazia all’emergenza climatica, dalle guerre alla gravità della situazione mondiale che progressivamente vanno a disegnare il perimetro della catastrofe. In tale recinto Larva fa la sua parte da operetta, scintilla di superficie, ammicca. Farsa e tragedia si fondono.

We have officially reached the point of no return.
We feel powerless in the face of climate, social, and human changes, and we no longer know how to respond. We justify ourselves. We adapt, we implode. A triptych of solo performances in a site-specific format, to tell what remains of the present—or perhaps of a near future that appears less and less dystopian, and more and more real. In the drowsiness, in the numbness, in the contemporary stasis, in the human weaknesses that accompany us every day, the beast within the heart is perhaps the explosion we truly need to feel alive again.
“Larva–Cockroach–Sapiens”: these are the titles of the solos.
LARVA is born in the context of a political event. Major themes are evoked: from the crisis of democracy to the climate emergency, from wars to the gravity of the global situation, which progressively draw the outline of catastrophe. Within this enclosure, Larva plays its part as a little operetta, a surface spark, a sly wink. Farce and tragedy merge.
