Dove il battito dell’hip hop incontra il respiro della natura, nasce Loop Box: un viaggio sensoriale attraverso il ritmo, il corpo e lo spazio, dove la ripetizione diventa linguaggio universale. Ispirato alla struttura ciclica del loop musicale, nucleo originario della cultura hip hop, Loop Box esplora il concetto di ripetizione come chiave compositiva e simbolica, presente nella musica, nella danza, nei cicli vitali della natura e nella percezione del tempo. Il progetto si interroga su cosa significhi riconoscere un loop, su quando questo finisca o ricominci, e su come la ripetizione possa generare un senso di continua attesa e ritorno, come un’onda che pulsa, si perde e ritorna.
Il progetto coinvolge attivamente anche il pubblico, chiamato a partecipare in modo diretto alla creazione della scena, in un momento coreografico aperto e condiviso.
Loop Box è una scatola aperta, un gioco infinito di possibilità che si rigenerano a ogni ciclo,
sorprendendo ogni volta performer e spettatori.

Mattia Quintavalle, in arte Sly, è ballerino, coreografo e insegnante. Formatosi in Italia e all’estero con artisti internazionali, si afferma nella scena europea partecipando a numerosi contest. Collabora con diverse crew, tra cui Oxygen, Collettivo Phonique, The Socks, Mnai's Around e If if if then. È docente di Hip Hop al DanceHaus Hip Hop Department di Susanna Beltrami a Milano e in varie scuole professionali italiane. Nel 2021 è ospite dell’Istituto Francese di Cultura di Kaolak in Senegal grazie a Boarding Pass Plus. Membro della BoomBox Squad di Brescia, crea con Giacomo Turati lo spettacolo “Rhythm is a Dancer”. Di recente collabora anche con Jacopo Jenna alla performance Manifestus.
Where the heartbeat of hip hop meets the breath of nature, Loop Box is born: a sensory journey through rhythm, the body, and space, where repetition becomes a universal language. Inspired by the cyclical structure of the musical loop, the original core of hip hop culture, Loop Box explores the concept of repetition as a compositional and symbolic key, present in music, dance, the cycles of nature, and the perception of time.
The project questions what it means to recognize a loop, when it ends or begins again, and how repetition can generate a sense of constant anticipation and return, like a wave that pulses, disappears, and comes back.
The project also actively involves the audience, who are invited to directly participate in the creation of the scene through an open and shared choreographic moment.
Loop Box is an open box, an endless game of possibilities that regenerate with every cycle, surprising performers and spectators each time.
BIO
Mattia Quintavalle, known as Sly, is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher. Trained in Italy and abroad with international artists, he established himself on the European scene by taking part in numerous contests. He collaborates with several crews, including Oxygen, Collettivo Phonique, The Socks, Mnai's Around, and If if if then.
He teaches Hip Hop at the DanceHaus Hip Hop Department by Susanna Beltrami in Milan and at various professional dance schools across Italy. In 2021, he was a guest of the French Institute of Culture in Kaolack, Senegal, thanks to Boarding Pass Plus.
A member of the Brescia-based BoomBox Squad, he created the performance “Rhythm is a Dancer” together with Giacomo Turati. More recently, he has also collaborated with Jacopo Jenna on the performance Manifestus.
