Mechanisms for Generating Meaning (MGM) is a series of performative experiments built around the idea of designing interactive artworks from simple systems known as mechanics.

Contemporary art and performance often position themselves as topical, attempting to address pressing issues facing humanity and the individuals within it. Mechanics, however, speak less to subject matter and more to the shape of a work—the structures that define how an audience encounters and interacts with it.

Each piece in MGM will be presented for the first time, conceived through design rather than rehearsal or choreography. While the works are not narrative-driven, they are created with the recognition that humans naturally perceive the world through narrative. Inevitably, stories will emerge."

The pieces shall be titled: Experiment #1, Experiment #2, Experiment #3, Experiment #4.
