Ripercorrendo l’antologia di ultimi versi di saggi e romanzi di culture ed epoche diverse, si scoprono le scelte di scrittrici e scrittori di racchiudere in poche parole, in pochi versi, il dono finale della loro opera: "L'amor che move il sole e l'altre stelle", così Dante decide di concludere dopo circa 15 anni e appena prima di morire la Divina Commedia.
Il pensiero dell’ultima ci evoca spinta, urgenza, il senso della vita come testimonianza.
Nello spazio un’asse di legno mobile, una metafora; nell’ascolto un’opera musicale di Luigi Nono, un suo richiamo ad un ascolto autentico. Negli occhi si compongono luci e si assiste al cambiamento di stabilità in disequilibri e poi ancora nuove tenute verso nuove variabilità.
Sospeso il giudizio sulla fine, si guarda al sentire e al tremore ancestrale che della fine non
ne sappiamo che nulla.

Marianna Andrigo e Aldo Aliprandi collaborano dal 2009 alla realizzazione di performance, attraversando i linguaggi dell’installazione e del site-specific come contaminazioni che definiscono lo spazio scenico. Il loro lavoro si focalizza sulla cura del movimento e del suono portati in specifiche condizioni che offrano composizioni aperte e sempre diverse. Nei loro lavori il suono è spesso elaborato in live con strumenti autocostruiti: la ricerca di Aliprandi si muove nella produzione elettroacustica - dalla creazione di strumenti in legno e corde, all’uso del digitale per la rielaborazione di input sonori. Il corpo scenico è lavorato per essere evocativo sia nelle costruzioni cinetiche che in azioni significanti che solcano gli spazi interstiziali delle arti dal vivo. Le loro performance indagano la condizione di durata, resistenza, della forza della dolcezza. Insieme hanno fondato Live Arts Cultures, associazione dedita alla promozione delle arti dal vivo, e Vertical Waves Project, compagnia di danza verticale.
Last kiss, last breath, last word, last hour, last cry, last dance, last supper… there are many expressions that highlight the power of the end.
As life unfolds, it intertwines the strength of the “last” as an opportunity for intensity, for resolution, for a test. By retracing the anthology of final verses from essays and novels of different cultures and eras, we discover the choices of writers to enclose, in just a few words or a few lines, the final gift of their work: “The Love that moves the sun and the other stars”—thus Dante chose to conclude the Divine Comedy after about fifteen years of writing, and just before his death.

In space, a moving wooden beam, a metaphor; in listening, a musical work by Luigi Nono, a call for authentic listening. To the eyes, lights compose themselves, and one witnesses the shift from stability into imbalance, and then again into new steadiness, toward new variables.
Suspending judgment about the end, one turns instead to feeling, to the ancestral tremor that reminds us that of the end we know nothing at all.

Marianna Andrigo and Aldo Aliprandi have been collaborating since 2009 on the creation of performances, traversing the languages of installation and site-specific interventions as contaminations that shape the scenic space. Their work focuses on the care of movement and sound, brought into specific conditions that allow for open and ever-changing compositions.
In their performances, sound is often processed live with self-built instruments: Aliprandi’s research moves within electroacoustic production—from the creation of wooden and string instruments to the use of digital tools for the reworking of sonic inputs. The stage body is shaped to be evocative both in kinetic constructions and in significant actions that cut across the interstitial spaces of the live arts.
Their performances investigate endurance, resistance, the strength of gentleness. Together they founded Live Arts Cultures, an association dedicated to the promotion of live arts, and Vertical Waves Project, a vertical dance company.
